What are all the little stars for?

Starring a submission is a way for you to mark submissions for your own reference. Star or unstar a submission by simply clicking its associated star. You will find a star near a submission anywhere you can view submissions.

The star will be either selected (yellow outline and a yellow center) or deselected (the image above shows a deselected star) depending upon whether or not you have starred the given submission.

Most people will probably star presentations in which they're interested, however you might decide to star presentations that you intend to read at a later time, or maybe you want to star presentations that you intend to avoid!! Whatever the case, star a presentation for any reason. Since you're logged in with your free account the website will always remember what you've starred.

Stars work for you!

Presentations are presented in time slots that we call Track Sessions. There are typically many Track Sessions occuring simultaneously. You can browse the Track Sessions and customize your schedule by choosing the Track Sessions that are of most interest to you. Stars assist you in this by showing you which Track Sessions contain presentations you've starred. See the image below.

You'll notice that a star is displayed for every presentation in a Track Session (not all Track Sessions contain the same number of presentations). Stars are highlighted or "lit up" when a Track Session contains starred presentations.
